Nordic PGDay 2015 will be held at the Radisson Blu Falconer Hotel in the Frederiksberg district in Copenhagen.

Falconer Hotel

Visitors from out of town can of course stay at the hotel during the nights to minimize travel times, we are working on securing reduced room rates for the duration of the conference. The hotel is located in the heart of Copenhagen, close to the metro and about 5 minutes from downtown.

We have negotiated a rate of DKK 1395 / night with the hotel, including breakfast, wifi and taxes. This rate is available from March 9th until March 13th, if you wish to stay a couple of extra days. To use the promotional rate, make your reservation directly on the hotel website using this link. Hurry up and book soon before the rate expires!

Travel information

Arriving by air

If you are arriving by air to Copenhagen Airport (CPH), we strongly advise you to take the metro to get to the hotel. It will be much faster, and also much cheaper, than taking a taxi, and the hotel is very close to a metro station.

As you exit the customs area, continue straight ahead and follow the signs for Train and Metro. At the end of the arrivals/departure hall, this will lead you up the escalators (do not go downstairs to the regular trains - the metro is upstairs).

Once you are upstairs, buy your ticket in a machine that looks like this. (There are machines available in the arrivals area downstairs as well, but the queues there are typically much longer) The machine speaks danish and english, and will accept both local and international creditcards. You can get a single ticket for 3 zones (36 DKK) to get to the hotel. If you plan to do some touristing in Copenhagen as well, you may want to consider getting a 72 hour CityPass (200 DKK) which will get you free rides for that period within all of the main areas of Copenhagen.

The only metro line that leaves the airport leads directly to the hotel. If you have not traveled in a driverless metro before, try getting a seat at the very front for the full experience. Get off the metro at station Frederiksberg, after about 20 minutes. When you leave the train, exit the station at the end that does not go directly outside, but has a small room half way out (but pass through this room and go outside). This is also at the end of the platform where the elevator is at. Once outside, go straight ahead until you reach the main street, turn right and the hotel will be less than two blocks away, on the right hand side.

Walking directions

Arriving by train

If you arrive by train to Copenhagen Central station, take the local S train to station Nørreport. Note that many of the regional and long distance trains may take you directly to Nørreport with no need to change train, and if that's possible it's obviously the preferred choice.

At Nørreport, take the Metro (M1 or M2) towards Vanløse, two stops. Get off at Frederiksberg, and follow the instructions above for how to get to the hotel.

Arriving by car

There is an underground parking available next to the hotel at Falkoner Plads. A parking fee per hour or day will apply, see local information or contact the hotel for more information.
